Samuel William Church Nettie Marie Bacon
Popular Norwich Young Couple Who Were United in Marriage Wednesday Evening
Norwich [Chenango Co., NY]: A pleasant nuptial event occurred Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's brother, George H. Bacon, on Brown avenue, when Samuel William Church and Miss Nettie Marie Bacon were united in marriage in the presence of a few relatives and friends by Rev. John L. Ray. The ceremony took place at 8 o'clock, the bridal couple standing beneath a white canopy timed with evergreens from which was suspended a white dove. They were unattended. The bride was attired in a handsome costume of white Persian mull trimmed with Valencia. Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served and the newly wedded couple left on the evening train for a brief wedding tour to Albany and other points of interest. On their return they will be at home after February 1, at 56 South Broad street.
