Miss Clara Frances Coy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Coy of 14 Lee avenue, Norwich, was united in marriage to Manley Edgar Safford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Safford of 10 Pine street, Hamilton, at the Broad Street Methodist parsonage [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY] at 4 p.m. Feb. 14. Miss Rachel Coy, sister of the bride and John Getchonis of Hamilton were the attending couple. The wedding supper was served at the bride's home, 14 Leo avenue, to the bridal couple and members of the immediate families. Pre-nuptial events were given by Miss Rachel Coy of 14 Lee avenue and by Mrs. Reatha Bennett and Mrs. Edith O'Nell, 26 State street and Mrs. Irma Safford at Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. Safford will reside at 13 Maple street, Hamilton.
Allen -Kentfield

The marriage of Miss Myrtle Verna Kentfield and Philip William Allen took place in Guilford [Chenango Co., NY] Saturday evening, in Christ Episcopal church, Rev. Frederick Ransler officiating. The bride, who was a teacher of French in the Sidney school for several years, resigned a few months ago to accept a position in the Scintilla plant. She is the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Kentfield of New Berlin [Chenango Co.., NY] and is formerly from Bainbridge. Mr. Allen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip W. Allen of 39 Delaware avenue Sidney [Delaware Co., NY], and is also employed at the Scintilla plant. Mr. and Mrs. Allen will reside at 17 Evans street, Bainbridge [Chenango Co., NY].
Miner - Millspaugh

In Emmanuel Episcopal church [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY] at 12:30 Sunday afternoon occurred the marriage of Mrs. Helen D. Millapaugh of West Main street and alderman James D. Miner of Francis avenue. The ceremony was performed by Rev. L.S Charters, rector, and attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Hazard of this city. After a short wedding trip, they will take up their residence on Francis avenue. Mrs. Miner is an investigator in the county, welfare department while Mr. Miner, in addition to being alderman of the first ward, is manager of the Victory Chain store at 54 East Main Street.

The marriage of Doris A. Ellis and Gilman L. Davis took place at the parsonage of the First congregational church in Norwich [Chenango Co., NY] Sunday afternoon. The ceremony was performed at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. G. Edgar Wolfe, pastor of the church. Witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Green. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ellis of 39 Brown avenue. Mr. Davis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Davis of Binghamton [Broome Co., NY].
