Married: In Zion's Church, in Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on the morning of the 3d inst., by Rev. F. Rogers, Mr. Peter B. Rathbone to Miss Eliza D. Dederer, all of that place.
Married: In the Methodist Church, in Coventry [Chenango Co., NY], on the 2d inst., by Rev. Wm. Bixby, Mr. Edward C. Smith to Miss Eliza D. Hayes, both of that place.
Died: In this village [Oxford, Chenango Co., NY], on the 4th inst., Eva M. [King], daughter of Aldrich and mary King, aged 16 months.
Died: In this town [Oxford, Chenango Co., NY], on the 4th inst., Jane M. [Davidson], wife of Mr. George Davidson, aged 65 years.

Died: In New Berlin [Chenango Co., NY], on the 24th ult. Mr. George Angell, aged 40 years.
Died: In North Pitcher [Chenango Co., NY], on the 7th Aug., Mrs. Jane Crumb, wife of Samuel Crumb, aged 37 years.

Married: In New Berlin [Chenango Co. NY], Sept. 23d, by Rev. N. Ripley, Mr. Ira K. Ball, of Marlborough, N.J. to Miss Mary Angell of the former place.
Died: In Greene, on the 18th inst.,Mrs. Elizabeth Chase, youngest daughter of the late Rev. H.T. McGeorge, and relict of Reuben Chase of Triangle, aged 58 years.
Died: In Almont, Mich. on the 20th inst., Mrs. Almira McGeorge, wife of Stephen A. McGeorge.
Melancholy Casualty: On Friday morning last, Capt. Nathaniel Brooks, of this village [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY], met with an accident which resulted in his death, on Saturday evening. He was engaged in finishing a chimney upon a building on Mitchell street, formerly occupied as a piano forte factory, when by some means he lost his footing, and was precipitated from the roof to the ground, a distance of twenty-six feet, breaking his left leg at the hip and ankle, and otherwise injuring him severely. He was removed to his residence, and medical assistance promptly rendered; but he lingered until Saturday evening, when death terminated his sufferings. It is supposed he was injured internally He was about 65 years of age, an excellent mechanic and respected citizen. Chenango Union.
