Married:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on 29th ult., by Rev. J.D. Webster, Mr. J.E. Tenbroeck of Troupsburgh, Steuben Co. [NY], to Miss Mary A. Miller of Oxford [Chenango Co., NY].

Married:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on the 29th ult. by Rev. J.D. Webster, Mr. Jesse Bartoo to Miss Henrietta Bixby, both of Oxford [Chenango Co., NY].

Married:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on the 23d inst., by Rev. H.W. Gilbert, Mr. Edward A. Holcomb of Troy, to Miss Julia Bingham, of Greene.

Died:  In New York, on 27th ult. Gerrit H. Van Wagenen, Esq., in the 58th year of his age.

Died:  In Smithville [Chenango Co., NY], on the 10th Sept. Almira Delphene [Landers], only child of Avery D. and Harriet Landers, aged 5 years.  "Sleep on sweet Della, take thy rest, / Thy sufferings all are o'er; / Now sweetly on thy Savior's breast / Thou wilt repose for evermore."
