Married: In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 6th inst. by Rev. L. Wright, Mr. J.D. Reed to Miss Hattie A. Randall, both of Norwich.

Married:  In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 6th inst. by Rev. H. Doane, Mr. Chas. E. Barnes, of Norwich to Miss Julia E. Birdlebough, of German [Chenango Co., NY].

Died:  In this town [Greene, Chenango Co., NY], on the 5th inst. Mr. Lester Manley, aged 49 years.

Died:  In Chenango Forks [Broome Co., NY], on the 1st inst., daughter of Cornelius Berry, aged 5 years.

Died:  In German [Chenango Co., NY], on the `1st inst., Mrs. Cathatine Boyles, daughter of P. McQuone of this village [Greene, Chenango Co., NY], aged 22 years.

Died:  In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 10th inst. Mr. Porter Wood, aged 58 years.  Mr. Wood was a well known citizen, highly respected for his intelligence and candor.

Died:  In Pitcher [Chenango Co., NY], on the 18th? inst., Lucia A. [Halbert], daughter of Dr. Horace and Emily Halbert, aged 6 years.

Died:  In Butternuts, Otsego Co. [NY], on the 5th inst., after a short illness, Mr. Alpheus Cady, in the 80th year of his age.

Died:  In this town [Greene, Chenango Co., NY], on the 21st inst., Elvira [Chalker], daughter of George and Emeline Chalker, aged 8 years and 4 months.

Died:  In Plymouth [Chenango Co., NY], on the 22d inst., Alvah P. Aldrich, aged 51 years.

Died:  In San Francisco, on the 4th inst. by his own hand, E.G. Paige, Esq., widely known as "Dow, Jr.".
