In this town [Greene, Chenango Co., NY], on the 31st ult., Mrs. Mary [Wagner], wife of Mr Adrew Wagner, aged 70 years.

In Triangle [Broome Co., NY], suddenly, on the 30th ult., Mr. Earlman Rogers.

In McDonough [Chenango Co., NY], on the 31st ult., Mrs. Jerusha Philley, aged 67 years.

George Hokirk of Harpersville, Broome Co. [NY], while engaged in gathering walnuts a few days since, fell from the top of a tree to the ground, a distance of thirty feet striking across a limb in his descent, which so injured him internally that he died from the effects of Thursday last.  He leaves a wife and children.

A terrible accident occurred in Binghamton [Broome Co., NY], Saturday morning last.  The freight engine "Tioughinoga," of the Syracuse, Binghamton and New York Railroad, exploded its boiler at 4-1/2 o'clock, tearing the engine into fragments, and instantly killing the engineer and fireman; the former named Edward Eaton and the latter Wm. Rose, both of Syracuse [Onondaga Co., NY].
