In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 2d inst., by Rev. Thos. Harroun, Mr. Geo. Blackman, of Plymouth [Chenango Co., NY] to Miss Euphema A. Tompson, of the same place.
Deaths
In Coventry [Chenango Co., NY], on the 29th ult., Mr. Hiram Fuller, aged 34 years.
In this town [Greene, Chenango Co., NY], on the 11th inst., Euphemia [Foster], wife of Oscar Foster, aged 33 years, 5 months and 11 days.
In Marietta, Ga., on the 27th ult., David Buttolph, Esq., formerly of Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], aged 88 years.
In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 6th inst., Mr. Elijah B. McCall,, aged 74 years.
A child of Charles Root, of McDonough [Chenango Co., NY], aged 13 months, was drowned in a tub of buttermilk on Sunday the 2d inst., into which it had accidently fallen unobserved, and which resulted in death in a very short time.

At the M.E. Parsonage in Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 12th inst., by Rev. T.P. Halsted, Mr. Wallace F. Potter to Miss Josephine McFarland, all of Oxford.
Deaths
In Smithville [Chenango Co., NY], on the 18th inst., Mr. James D. Bliss, aged 83 years. Deceased was born in Dartmouth, Mass., in the year 1785. He removed to Saratoga with his parents at the age of about 8 years, when at the now noted village of Saratoga Springs there was but one small house. He served as First Sergeant in the war of 1812. He has officiated as Deacon in the Baptist Church of which he was a member from his youth. He died respected by all who knew him and strong in the faith of a blessed immortality beyond the grave.
At the residence of L.W. Knott, in Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 12th inst., Samuel Weeden of West Laurens, Otsego Co. [NY], formerly of Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], aged 72 years 10 months and 24 days.
In Pitcher [Chenango Co., NY], on the 6th inst., suddenly, Nathan R. Baldwin, aged 43 years 3 months and 17 days.

In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 20th inst., Willie [Haight], son of Wm. and Caroline Haight, aged 19 years.
In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 24th inst., Dea. Sam'l. W. Williams,, aged 60 years.
In Coventry [Chenango Co., NY], on the 1st inst., Mr. Enoch Carrington, aged about 92 years.
In Afton [Chenango Co., NY], on the 30th inst., Mr. Reuben Bump, aged 92 years.
Near Spotsylvania Court hours, Va., on the 7th inst. Mr. Elbert Ackley. The deceased was struck by lightning and instantly killed. He was formerly a resident of Coventry [Chenango Co., NY].
Mrs. C. Crandall of North Pitcher [Chenango Co., NY], an old lady seventy-three years of age, while on a visit to her son, Mr. Welch Crandall, of Upper Lisle [Broome Co., NY], was found dead in her bed on Saturday morning last. She retired in her usual health, and apparently died without a struggle.
