Norwich [Chenango Co., NY]: After a three years' illness Adam H. Stahl, an old soldier, died at his home on Jones avenue Tuesday morning, aged 70. Six years ago Mr. Stahl came to Norwich from Delaware county and for much of the time since had been employed at the local station of the Lackawanna Railroad Company. Deceased was born in Warnasing, N.Y. He served three years in the civil war, enlisting August 13, 1862, in Company H, One hundred and Forty-fourth Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry. He is survived by his wife, one son, James Stahl, of Kelly's Corners, Delaware county, and by one daughter, Mrs. John Rieker, of Norwich. Funeral services were held Friday morning, Rev.
