Frank J. and Gertrude C. (Lanckton) Edmunds

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen M. Lanckton, in Otselic [Chenango Co., NY], on Tuesday last occurred the wedding of Gertrude C. Lanckton, of that place, and Frank J. Edmunds, of Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], in the presence of about 50 relatives and friends of the bride and groom. The ceremony was performed by 12:15 p.m. by Rev. Spencer J. Ford, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, of this village. The parlor was prettily decorated with vines and flowers, the happy couple standing beneath an arch and in front of a beautiful bank of evergreens.  Mr. and Mrs. Edmunds were the recipients of many handsome and useful gifts. They will reside on Sheldon street in this village. The bride has many friends in Norwich, having formerly presided here for a time. The groom is a young man well and favorably known as an employee in the grocery store of Smith & Dunne.
