Death

Russel Boyce who died at Ninevah [Broome Co. NY] on the 19th inst. whither he had gone on a pedestrian trip to visit his sons, was an octogenarian of this village [Mt. Upton, Chenango Co. NY], where he has resided many years.  He had been a member of the Methodist church for more than half a century, had been a devoted class leader and so earnest and consistent was his Christian life that he maintained to the last the respect of the entire community.  Verily he rests from his labors, and his works do follow him."

DIMMICK:  At South Plymouth [Chenango Co. NY] July 31, Sarah A. Dimmick wife of Marvin Dimmick, aged 57 years.  Funeral at the residence of her husband today (Saturday) at three o'clock p.m.

WORSTER:  McDonough, Chenango Co. NY:  On June 28th, William Worster one of the oldest citizens of this town, died of cancer in the 74th year of his age.
