Deaths

In Hamilton, Madison Co. [NY] on the 13th inst. Mrs. Amelia B. Slocum daughter of Deacon Charles Randall of this town aged 32 years.  In the death of Mrs. S., a parent is called to mourn the loss of an endearing daughter, a husband a fond, affectionate companion, a son a tender and sympathizing mother and society an inestimable member.  Consumption's ghastly visage was productive of no terror and Death's messenger was welcomed with a smile that tells the peace and quiet of a soul that rest with God.
