Death
In this village [Binghamton, Broome co. NY] on Thursday the 19th inst. of a consumption, Mr. Henry T Shipman, aged 56 years. Mr. Shipman, was one of the earliest settlers in this village, having resided here 33 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had been through life a man of excellent moral character. He has left a widow and a large family of children.

In Union Centre [Broome Co. NY] Sept. 25th, 1874, Ida M. [Rockwell] aged 8 years and 11 months.
Daniel B. Simpson one of the best known and most respected citizens of Binghamton [Broome Co. NY] died Thursday evening Oct. 15th, in his 59th year. His funeral took place last Saturday.

June 28th, In Morris [Otsego Co. NY] at the residence of his son-in-law, D.D. Dye, Jonathan Angell aged 82 years and 5 months.
June 29th, In New Lisbon [Otsego Co. NY], Isaac C. Kimbell Esq. aged 58 years and 19 months.
Two boys, sons of Volentine Pope, New Berlin [Chenango Co. NY] went in swimming in the Unadilla River last Friday evening at that place, and one of them aged 12 years, got into deep water and was drowned. The younger one gave the alarm, but it was nearly an hour before the body could be found. This should prove as a warning to young boys, to keep out of dangerous waters.
