Marriage
The reception given by Mr. and Mrs. M. O'Brien on Saturday evening of last week was a very pleasant affair, in fact one of the finest of the season. At an early hour the guests began to assemble and at about nine o'clock they numbered upwards of sixty. Lobdell's String Band, assisted by "Lot" Crosby and Al Buchanan, furnished the music and all who had the pleasure of hearing pronounced it as being particularly fine. All who wished, had an opportunity and nearly all took an active part in the dance and from eight to eleven the floors were well filled. In the meantime, a luxurious repast was spread in the dining room, which was served to the guests in splendid style and partaken of in a manner that showed it was duly appreciated. At a seasonable hour the guests departed, leaving with the newly wedded pair their heartiest congratulations and earnest wishes that the new voyage on which they have embarked may be attended with prosperity and happiness.
