In Guilford, Sept. 4, 1889, at the home of the bride, by Rev. J.L. Jones, assisted by Rev. D.N. Grummon, Mr. James M. Horton of Bainbridge and Miss Harriett R. Clark of Guilford were united in marriage.

A very pretty home wedding was solemnized, Thursday eve, Nov. 15 at 8:30 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morgan Smith, when Mildred Genevieve their only daughter was united in marriage to Mr. Albin Edward Johnson of Cooperstown. Father M.L. Yates of the Episcopal church of Cooperstown performed the ceremony before a large gathering of relatives and friends. Mr. Carl Johnson a brother of the groom sang "At Dawning I Love You." Promptly at 8:30 to the strains of Lohengrin, played by Mr. Robert Hyers of Mt. Upton, the bride entered on the arm of her father becomingly gowned in white crepe-de-chine trimmed with pearls, and wore a long tulle veil on which were arranged orange blossoms and she carried bridal roses and orchids. The bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Jones wore orchid crepe-de-chine with hat to match and carried pink roses. John McMoon of Cooperstown acted as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held after which light refreshments were served. the tables were decorated with pink and white carnations. Frace - Walker: On Saturday evening, November seventeenth, Mr. Daniel Frace and Mrs. Flora M. Walker were united in marriage at the latter's home on South Main street. The ring ceremony was used and was performed by the Rev R.B. Whitman pastor of the Baptist church. The guests present were Mr. D.B. Walker, Mrs. M.J. Walker, Miss Vivian Walker, Mrs. S.J. Davis - West: Charles G. Davis and Miss Beulah M. West both of Sidney, N.Y. [Delaware Co., NY], were quietly married at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage by the Rev. A.D. An interlocutory decree of divorce has been granted Catherine L. Green of Bainbridge [Chenango Co. NY], in proceedings entered against Henry W. Green of the same village, a former resident of Sidney, now residing in Binghamton. The decree was granted by Supreme Court Justice A.L. Kellogg in chambers at Norwich, Sept. 29th. Proceedings entered against E.C. Burdick of Bainbridge by Mr. Green were dropped from the court records without trial or hearing. [Bainbridge Republican, Nov. 22, 1923]
