Little Lillie, that darling flower, / Has gone to dwell in Eden's bower; / Her loving sister she will meet, / And holy angels there will greet.
Her sufferings here were great, we know, / While in this world of pain and woe; / But she has gone where sorrows may not come, / In Heaven above, her peaceful home.
Her body sleeps in the silent grave, / But Christ has said to her soul, "Arise," / And she, with that sister, who had gone before, / Awaits her parents in the skies.
