Announcements have been received by Margaretville [Delaware Co., NY] friends of the marriage of Miss Marjorie Conner to Sgt. Dana F. Wells, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Sgt. Wells is an instructor at Camp Boca Ratone. Mrs. Wells will return to Margaretville in the fall and resume her duties as music teacher in the Margaretville Central Schools, says the News. The engagement of Miss Viola Frear, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Frear, of Unadilla [Otsego Co., NY], and Dr. S.P. Dansky, of Stamford [Delaware Co., NY], has been announced. Miss Frear is well known as a teacher at Stamford for 15 years, before going to Elmira where she taught last year. She is a graduate of Unadilla High School, Oneonta and Albany State Colleges.
