Seward - Leigh:  Miss Orna Leigh, of Walton [Delaware Co., NY], and Frederick Seward, of Franklin [Delaware Co., NY], were married at the Methodist parsonage in Sidney Center, Saturday morning, by the Rev. A. James Hall.  [Bainbridge News & Republican, August 12, 1943]

 

Announcements have been received by Margaretville [Delaware Co., NY] friends of the marriage of Miss Marjorie Conner to Sgt. Dana F. Wells, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  Sgt. Wells is an instructor at Camp Boca Ratone.  Mrs. Wells will return to Margaretville in the fall and resume her duties as music teacher in the Margaretville Central Schools, says the News.  [Bainbridge News & Republican, Aug. 12, 1943]

 

Miss Margaret Frances Reed, daughter of Dr. S.W. Reed, of Margaretville [Delaware Co., NY], became the bride of Pvt. John Bacon Dryden, son of Charles Dryden, of Ainsworth, Iowa, at the Presbyterian Church of Margaretville, Aug. 2.  The Rev. The engagement of Miss Viola Frear, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Frear, of Unadilla [Otsego Co., NY], and Dr. S.P. Dansky, of Stamford [Delaware Co., NY], has been announced.  Miss Frear is well known as a teacher at Stamford for 15 years, before going to Elmira where she taught last year.  She is a graduate of Unadilla High School, Oneonta and Albany State Colleges. Miss Dorothy Cuyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cuyle, of Masonville [Delaware Co., NY], became the bride of Stanton K. Ward, of Sidney [Delaware Co., NY], Sunday afternoon.  They were united in marriage by the Rev. Roy T.
