Married:  In this village [Oxford, Chenango Co., NY], on the 26th ult. by Rev. L.E. Spafford, Mr. Henry Kinney to Miss Frances M. Rowley, all of Oxford.

Died:  In this village [Oxford, Chenango Co., NY], on the 27th ult. Emily E. [Comstock], daughter of Frances and Lucy Comstock, aged 2 years.

Died:  In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 25th ult. Emeline [Beardsley], wife of Mr. Orlando Beardsley, aged 36 years.

Died:  In Smyrna [Chenango Co., NY], on the 27th ult. Mrs. Rhoda Rogers, aged 85? years.

Died:  In Cortland [Cortland Co., NY], Apr. 22d, Nathaniel [Fosworth], only son of Elam and Emily Fosworth, aged 4 years and 10 months.

Died:  In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 6th April, Mrs. Marietta [Stratton], wife of George Stratton, and daughter of Dan and the late Alvira Robinson, aged 41 years.  It is seldom in the records of quiet country life, that any thing so peculiarly saddening and aggravating occurs as the untimely death of Mrs. S.  While caring for the comfort of a sick man, who was only a transient boarder, she caught that dreadful disease, small pox, and after a few days illness was consigned to the grave, while the heartless creature for whom she had so hospitably sacrificed her own safety was permitted to live, with not one word of thought of gratitude for all that had been done for him.  Those only who knew Mrs. S. can appreciate the love sustained by her husband and children in this terrible bereavement, and the shock to a large circle of relatives and friends was one long to be remembered.  Thoroughly devoted in home duties [...rest unreadable...]

Married:  In Guilford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 30th ult. by Rev. R.L. Warriner, Mr. Edwin R. Warriner, Principal of the New Berlin Academy to Miss Mary Jannette Dargaval of the former place.

Died:  In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 29th ult. Mr. Andrew Miller, aged 82? years.

Died:  In Smithville [Chenango Co., NY], on the 1st inst. Mr. George W. Westfall, aged 15 years.

Died:  At Camp Parole, Annapolis, Md., on the 7th ult. Moses W. Tefft of Co. G, 8th N.Y Cavalry, son of Welcome Tefft of German [Chenango Co., NY], aged 19 years.

Died:  In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY] on the 21st ult. Mr. Palmer Edmonds, aged 81 years.

Died:  In the Hospital at Elmira [Chemung Co., NY], on the 19th ult. Henry Thetga, of Otselic [Chenango Co. NY], formerly of Co. I, 114th Reg. and lately of the 19th V.R.C.
