The deceased was buried on Sunday, the 24th, but suspicions of foul play becoming so strong, Coroner Blodgett was notified on the following Tuesday, the body exhumed, a postmortem examination held, and the stomach and contents taken last Friday to Albany by the coroner to be analyzed by a chemist.
