Albert R. Mundy

Albert R. Mundy of Smyrna [Chenango Co., NY], 61, former resident of the town of Norwich, died at his home in Smyrna Thursday noon. He resided on Tanner Hill until about three years ago when he sold his property there and moved to Smyrna. Mr. Mundy had been a victim of heart attacks and Wednesday night was again stricken. He did not survive the attack and passed away about noon Thursday. There survive his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Rowland Hamm. Funeral services are to be held in Smyrna at 12:30 Sunday noon. Rev. Mr. Sullivan officiating, and the body will be brought to this city for funeral services at the Breese funeral home at 2:30, Rev. Jas. K. Romeyn officiating with burial in Mt. Hope.
Mary J. Mundy

Norwich [Chenango Co., NY]: The funeral of Mrs. Mary J. Mundy, wife of Eugene Mundy, who died at her home in North Norwich yesterday morning after a protracted illness, will be held from the Breese Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. James K. Romeyn officiating. Burial will be in the North Norwich Cemetery. Born in North Norwich, May 20, 1875, the deceased was a member of the North Norwich Grange and the First Baptist church of Norwich. Besides the husband, she is survived by two sons, Harry of Norwich and Howard of Detroit, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. M.E. Sholes and Mrs. Ira T. Stradling, both of North Norwich, and Mrs. Whitman S. Wick of Middletown, and two brothers, Charles and Lynn Case, both of North Norwich.
Harry Mundy

Harry Mundy of 56 Plymouth street [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY] died at his home Wednesday evening about 8 o'clock after an illness of about two weeks because of a heart ailment. Mr. Mundy was born in Norwich, June 19, 1896, and for many years conducted a barber shop in this city. There survive his wife; one son, Richard, of Norwich; a daughter, Mrs. Cleo Weston, of Syracuse; his father, Eugene Mundy, of North Norwich, and a brother, Howard, of Detroit. He also leaves a grandson, Richard Mundy, Jr., and a step-daughter, Marion Mundy, of Norwich. Services are to be held at the Breese Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon with burial in the North Norwich cemetery.
Eva M. Mundy
Died February 1, 1944, Norwich, NY
Norwich [Chenango Co., NY]: Funeral services for Mrs. Eva M. Mundy of this city whose death occurred suddenly Tuesday night after an illness of only a few hours, will be held from the William Breese Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. R.L. Matthews, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church is to officiate. Employed as a winder at the plant of the J.C. Welwood Corporation, Mrs. Mundy was taken ill about 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dr. Leslie T. Kinney was summoned and he directed that she be removed to the Chenango Memorial Hospital where she died three hours later. Born in Norwich, April 5, 1896. Mrs. Mundy was a sister of the late Mrs. Linn A. Skinner, who succumbed suddenly to a heart attack Jan. 11. Mrs. Mundy is survived by her husband, one daughter, Miss Arlene Mundy of Columbus, Ga; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Figary, and three sisters and two brothers, Otto Nicholson of Oxford, Mrs. Arnold Gibbons of Norwich, Mrs. Raymond Salisbury, Clarence and Clyde Figary, all of this city.
