Willcox - Hackett

Miss Eleaine Hackett, daughter of Mrs. Leona Hackett of McDonough [Chenango Co., NY] and David E. Willcox, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Willcox of East McDonough, were married Sunday, November 19th in a single ring ceremony at the East McDonough Community Church. The Rev. Dean Harrison, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Barnice Scarlett and Mrs. Calvin Genereux, sister of the bride, presented a program of nuptial music. Elizabeth Hackett attended her sister as maid of honor, and Richard Hofmann of Rochester, cousin of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Willard and Donald Hackett, brothers of the bride. About 50 guests attended a reception at the home of the bride's mother after the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Lake Placid the couple plan to reside in East McDonough. The bride attended Oxford Academy. Willcox was graduated from the same school in 1952 and is associated with his father in farming.
Simmons - Rotundo

Miss Antoinette Lorrein Rotundo of 31 East Railroad street [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY], daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rocco Rotundo and Richard Alvin Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Simmons of R.D. Norwich were married on Saturday. The Rev. Guido Festa performed the double ring ceremony in St. Bartholomew's church and a reception followed in the church hall. The bride, who had her sister, Miss Susie Ann Rotundo as maid of honor, was given away by her brother, James Rotundo. Bernard Simmons was best man for his brother while Edward Ackley and John Stone served as ushers. Mrs. Simmons was graduated from Norwich high school in June and is employed at the Chenango County Patrons Fire Relief Association. Mr. Simmons was graduated from Norwich high school in 1950 and is employed by the Norwich Publishing Co.
