Marriages (July 21)

Mr. Clayton Floyd Parsons of Nineveh Junction, and Miss Stella May Lyon daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lyon, of Coventryville [Chenango Co., NY], were united in marriage at the Baptist parsonage by Rev. Charles d. Reed, Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m.  Mr. and Mrs. Lyon took train 13 for Binghamton, after a short wedding visit they will be home on Mr. Parsons' farm at Nineveh [Broome Co., NY].  [Bainbridge Republican, Jan. 15, 1903]

Otto Kreiger and Miss Carrie B. Johnson were married in this city Thursday evening at the residence of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Johnson of Riverside.  The ceremony was performed in presence of the relatives and contracting parties, Rev. F.B. Lewis of the Episcopal church of Bozeman, officiating.  The groom is one of the successful young business men of Livingston and a member of the firm of A. Krieger & Co., and the bride a most estimable young lady, also a resident of this city--Livingston (Mont.) Enterprise.  Mrs. Kreiger is a daughter of Mrs. Alice Johnson of West Bainbridge, and has many warm friends in that vicinity who wish her a long life of happiness and prosperity.  Mrs. Johnson will join her daughter in Montana in about two weeks.  [Notation:  1894]

Married at the home of the bride's parents in Wells Bridge, Aug. 19, by the Rev. P.L. Cooper, Elliott D. Truman of Bainbridge and Mrs. Ella J. Truman of Wells Bridge.  After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Truman left for a short visit with friends in nearby towns after which they will make their home in Bainbridge.  Mr. Truman is the junior member of the firm of Frisbie & Truman, druggist, and he has won many friends among the people of Bainbridge [Chenango Co., NY] during his residence here, who with the Express extend Mr. Truman and his bride best wishes for a long and happy voyage on life's ocean time.  [Notation:  1896]
