Hardee - Butts
Married December 25, 1909
Friends here have received the announcement of the marriage of Adelaide Miller Butts to Fred Alexander Hardee, which occurred Saturday, December 25th, 1909, Sorrento, Florida.  Mrs. Hardee's many friends in her home town will join with us in extending hearty congratulations.

Handy - Wood
Married June 22, 1930
In a very pretty wedding at the bride's home, Miss Frances M. Wood and George M. Handy both of Norwich were united in marriage Sunday morning at nine o'clock.  The bride was attended by Miss Glendora Arnold of New Berlin, N.Y., a cousin of the groom while John Shea acted as best man.  The wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Furbush of the Congregational church and was witnessed only by the immediate families and friends of the bride and groom.  After the ceremony the couple left by auto for Old Forge to spend a short honeymoon.  After July 1 they will be at home at 53 Rexford street [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY].   the bride was gowned in white silk crepe.  She wore a white silk and lace hat with shoes and stockings to match.  She carried a bouquet of sweet peas. The bridesmaid was gowned in Alice blue crepe and carried a bouquet of roses.  The high esteem in which she is held was attested by the many wedding gifts including gold, silver, linen, china, furniture and electrical appliances for her new home.  The couple have received warm congratulations form many well wishing friends.

Hartman - Chapin
Married December 21, 1939
Belle Chapin of South New Berlin [Chenango Co., NY] to John Hartman of Charlottesville, Virginia. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W Coss, and was graduated from the Leland Powers School of the Theatre, of Boston, Mass.  The groom is the son of Mrs. John H. Hartman, and the late Dr. John H. Hartman of Charlottesville, and was graduated from the University of Virginia. The bride and groom are members of the faculty of Blue Ridge College, New Windsor, Maryland, and after the Christmas holidays will make their home there.

Cobb - Thomas
Married September 24, 1939
Greene [Chenango Co., NY]:  Miss Ruth Thomas, daughter of Volney Thomas of Ithaca and Howard Cobb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cobb of Greene, were married Sunday, September 24, 1939, at the home of the bride's aunt, Miss Lena Thomas in Ithaca, N.Y. [Thompkins Co.].  They were attended by Mrs. Arthur Townly of Ithaca, and Donald Seeley of Mt. Upton, N.Y.  About 20 of the immediate members of the families were present.  Mr. and Mrs. Cobb will reside in Ithaca.

Hardacker - Hutchins
Married September 23, 1939
Miss Ernestine Hutchins, daughter of Mr. and Mr.s Parker Hutchins of Brisben [Chenango Co., NY] and Arnold Hardacker of Lexington, Mass., were married in the Baptist church, in New ---ford, Pa., Saturday afternoon, September 23, at 2 o'clock by the Rev. R.L. Gould, pastor of the Baptist church in Greene, N.Y. They were attended by James and Phyllis Hutchins, brother and sister of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Parker Hutchins.  Mr. and Mrs. Hardacker will reside in Lexington, Mass.

Harrington - Follett
Married June 22, 1915 - 25th Anniversary
Sunday evening a surprise party was given Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harrington of Cortland street [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY] in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary by their daughters, Mary, Minnie and Jean. They received many beautiful flowers and useful gifts.  Those present were:  Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hadley and sons Richard and Charles of Bainbridge; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tuttle and son Ralph of Delhi; Mrs. Ben Finch and daughters Susan and Rosemary of Utica; Mrs. Mary Harrington of Holmesville; Grant Follett of South New Berlin; and Gordon Ballentine of Oneonta.  Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Saunders and daughter Mary; Mr. and Mrs. William Duncan; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tillapaugh; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fryover and Clifton Frink of Norwich.  --Sun [Walter J.
