After dinner, as soon as Santa Claus had arrived, the guests all rushed into the parlor where there was a beautiful Christmas tree loaded with gifts for everyone. The remainder of the day was spent in games. Just as the guests were about to leave, Santa came back and left a grab-bag filled with jokes for all present. The guests left at a late hour, wishing Mr. and Mrs. Teachout many more happy anniversaries. [Bainbridge News & Republican, Jan. 2, 1936]
