Glenn M. Heath, well known resident of Bainbridge [Chenango Co., NY], died at his home in Pearl street, Tuesday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock, following an illness of several months' duration. Mr. Heath was born on September 10, 1873 at Union Center, N.Y., the son of Theodore O. and Ida Sciam Heath. At the age of eleven he came with his parents to this village, his father being employed in the sled factory in Johnson street. In 1893 he was united in marriage with Miss Belle Medbury and the same year they moved to Clearfield, Pa., where he was employed in the sled factory, partly owned and operated by his father. He returned to Bainbridge in 1897 and with the exception of about two years spent in Sidney and Johnson City has made his home in this village. During that time he was employed as a mechanic by the American Separator Company and the Dry Milk Company. Mr. Heath was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Chruch and for the past 24 years had held the office of vestryman in the church. He was a member and past master of Susquehanna Lodge, No. 167 F.&A.M., and a member and past patron of Bainbridge Chapter, No. 354, Order of Easter Star. [Survivors include] Mrs. J.W. Austin of Nineveh, and Mrs. Harriet M. Blake, of Altoona, Pa.; and two brothers, Arthur Heath, of Altoona, Pa., and Myron Heath of Minneapolis, Minn. A private prayer service will be held in the funeral chapel of Colwell Bros. on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by the funeral service in St. Peter's Episcopal Chruch at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Bradford Tite, rector of St. Peter's, will conduct the service and interment will be made in St. Peter's Cemetery [Bainbridge].

Sarah Carrington Pierce, widow of James Pierce, died January 28th at her home in South Main street [Bainbridge, Chenango Co., NY], aged 82 yeas. She was born in Jefferson, N.Y. [Schoharie Co.], daughter of Lymand and Harriet Carrington. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Bradford H. Tite, rector of St. Peter's church, officiating, and burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery [Bainbridge].

Victor Scott, of Unadilla [Otsego Co., NY], and formerly of West Bainbridge, died in Unadilla, Oct. 13. His funeral was held Saturday at Colwell's Chapel with burial in North Afton Cemetery [Chenango Co., NY].
Walter Hendrickson

Walter J. Hendrickson, 56, a resident of Bainbridge [Chenango Co., NY] for 35 years, died at the Bainbridge Hospital, Sunday morning, Oct. 5, of a heart ailment. Born Oct. 24, 1895, at Gulf Summit Broome County, he was a son of Fred and Gertrude (Buckland) Hendrickson. In December, 1917, he moved to Bainbridge where he had resided ever since. He was a member of the Bainbridge Baptist Church, and a former member of the Bainbridge Fire Department. Mr. Hendrickson had been employed by the Borden Company for 23 years, having worked in the laboratory of the Dry Milk Co. until it ceased operation, and then he entered the laboratory of the Chemical Division where he was employed at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Hendrickson, of Bainbridge; a son, Carl Hendrickson, of Nineveh; his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Hendrickson; a brother, Simeon Hendrickson, both of Bainbridge; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Abear, of Binghamton; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Fisher funeral Home, Bainbridge, at 2 p.m. The Rev. A.C. Brokaw officiated. The pall bearers were Glenn Brewer, James Monahan, Frank Doolittle and Richard Doolittle. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Bainbridge.

At Oneonta Plaines [Otsego Co., NY], April 21st, Mrs. Jennie Holmes, adopted daughter of Emanuel Northrup in the 34th year of her age.
