Cumber - Doing
Married August 23, 1930, Hartwick, NY
At the Methodist church at Hartwick, N.Y. [Otsego Co., NY] at 10 o'clock Saturday morning occurred the marriage of Viola C. Doing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark B. Doing, to Harold H. Cumber. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. George E. Young, who was formerly pastor at the M.E. church of Plymouth.  Miss Olga Smith and Robert D. McGarity Jr. of Norwich were the attending couple.  After a wedding trip through the northeastern states, Mr. and Mrs. Cumber will reside at 7-1/2  Miller street, Norwich [Chenango Co., NY].

Oper - Follette
Married December 7, 1941, Boonville, NY
Miss Muriel A. Follette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Follette of Boonville [Oneida Co., NY] was married to Norwood C. Oper of Rome [Oneida Co., NY], Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941, at 3 p.m. at the bride's home.  Rev. Wm. A. Eddy of Clayton, officiating. They were attended by Dora Youngs of Utica, and Norman Oper, of Ava, twin brother of the groom.  After a wedding trip South they will reside in Boonville.  Friends of the bride in South new Berlin extend best wishes.

Brookins - Prindle
Married October 22, 1942, Norfolk, VA
Miss Gladys Prindle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garfield J. Prindle of this city, and William Brookins, son of Police Chief Lelan Brookins, were married at Norfolk, Va., October 22, Mr. Brookins is stationed at the naval operating base at Norfolk. Announcement of the wedding was made Saturday by parents of the bride.

Squires - Shoales
Married November 4, 1939, Norwich, NY
Miss Lillian A. Shoales of 26 State street and Ray Squires of Norwich R.D. [Chenango Co., NY], were united in marriage in Emmanuel Episcopal church at 7 o'clock Saturday night by Rev. L.S. Charters. A small company of friends witnessed the ceremony.  The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Follett of Preston.  Mr. and Mrs. Squires will reside at 26 State street.

Crandall - Dunham
Married December 30, 1943, Sebring, FL
Mrs. Minnie Dunham announces the marriage of her daughter, Shirley Ann [Dunham], to Lt. Lewis W. Crandall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis M. Crandall of North Norwich [Chenango Co., NY] on December 30, 1943, at Sebring, Florida. The bride wore a dress of wine chiffon velvet with a hat to match and a corsage of white orchids.  Mrs. Charles Dobbins, who was matron of honor, wore a dress of powder blue crepe with a hat to match and a corsage of pink roses.  Lt. Charles Dobbins was best man.  Mrs. Crandall recently returned to Norwich with Lt. Crandall, who was on leave. She plans to rejoin her husband in Florida in the near future.
