Oper-Follette
Married December 7, 1941, Boonville, NY
Miss Muriel A Follette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Follette of Boonville [Oneida Co., NY] was married to Norwood C. Oper of Rome [Oneida Co., NY], Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941, at 3 p.m. at the bride's home, Rev. Wm. A. Eddy of Clayton, officiating. They were attended by Dora Youngs of Utica and Norman Oper, of Ava, twin brother of the groom.  After a wedding trip South they will reside in Boonville.  Friends of the bride in South New Berlin extend best wishes.

Brookins - Prindle
Married October 22, 1942, Norfolk, VA
Miss Gladys Prindle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garfield J. Prindle of this city, and William Brookins, son of Police Chief Lelan Brookins, were married at Norfolk, Va., October 22.  Mr. Brookins is stationed at the naval operating base at Norfolk.  Announcement of the wedding was made Saturday by parents of the bride.

Squires - Shoales
Married November 4, 1939, Norwich, NY
Mrs. Lillian A. Shoales of 26 State street and Ray Squires of Norwich R.D. [Chenango Co., NY], were united in marriage in Emmanuel Episcopal church at 7 o'clock Saturday night by Rev. L.S. Charters. A small company of friends witnessed the ceremony.  The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Follett of Preston.  Mr. and Mrs. Squires will reside at 26 State street.

Housel - Rourke
Married December 10, 1942
Mrs. P.H. Rourke, now of New York city, announces the marriage of her daughter, Emma [Rourke], Dec. 10, 1942, to Roscoe F. Housel, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Housel of Evanston, Ill.  Miss Rourke, a graduate of Norwich high, attended Packard Secretarial School, New York.  She was associated with the Armour Co. of Chicago.  Mr. Housel is employed by the Chrysler co. in Chicago and is also owner and manager of Winter lodge, a popular Wisconsin resort.  Mr. and Mrs. Housel will reside in Evanston, Ill.

Smith - McGuire
Married August 15, 1929, New Berlin, NY
The marriage of Miss Thelma Irene McGuire to Paul Smith, both of South New Berlin [Chenango Co., NY], was solemnized Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Andrew's Episcopal church at New Berlin. The marriage service was officiated by Dr. H.H. Gifford rector.  The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs. Maud McGuire, mother of the bride and Mrs. H.H. Gifford. The couple left immediately after the ceremony on a motor trip to Ohio.  On their return they will reside in an apartment in South New Berlin. Both Mr. and Mrs. Smith are well known in this city. The groom is employed as a salesman with the John . Benedict Company here.
