A Revolutionary Soldier - Is He the Last in the County?: We saw on the 4th inst., Joseph Foote, of Coventry [Chenango Co., NY], who was here to execute his pension papers. Mr. Foote was born October 1760, and will be 99 year's of age next October. He resided a great part of his life after the revolution at Austerlitz in Columbia co. Some years since he came to Coventry to reside with his sons. He was through the whole of the Revolution in different capacities, and witnessed the final triumph of our arms at Yorktown. His mental faculties are yet good. He does not "stoop for age," and has quite a martial appearance in his movements. It is thought by many that he is the only survivor in the county of that heroic band who achieved our independence. If not so, let us hear from our contemporaries.
