At a meeting of the Norwich Baptist Sabbath School, held April 14, 1867, the following resolutions were adopted:  Resolved, that in the death of our sister, Mrs. Orlando Randall, we have lost an earnest and faithful Teacher, one who loved the Sunday School and its work, and who by her labors and efforts sought to do what she could to lead the young to Christ.

Resolved, that while our ranks have again been broken, we, as Teachers, are admonished that the present is the only sure time we have to work.  The night will come; its shades may be already settling around us, and the time near when the laborers shall be called.

Resolved, that while we mourn the loss of our beloved sister and teacher, we would remember those who mourn the wife, the mother, gone, the light of whose household has gone out, and would pray that He who alone can comfort the mourning ones, may be their refuge and support.
