SNOW - ELLIOTT:  In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY], September 5th, by Rev. A.M. Totman, Mr. John S. Snow, of Norwich, and Miss Ella Elliott of Plymouth [Chenango Co. NY].

ANDROSE - STEPHENS:  In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY], September 5th, by Rev. A.M. Totman, Mr. William W. Androse, of Owego [Tioga Co. NY], and Miss Ermina E. Stephens, of the same place.

DANIELS - BENJAMIN:  At the residence of Horace L. Barnes, Esq., in Pharsalia [Chenango Co. NY] September 4th, by Rev. H.B. Jones, Mr. Alfred Daniels to Mrs. Emeline Benjamin, both of Preston [Chenango Co. NY].

SYMONDS - MASSEY:  In Ithaca [Tompkins Co. NY], August 29, by Rev. Charles J. Shrimpton, Mr. George W. Symonds, of Oxford [Chenango Co. NY], and Miss Fannie R. Massey, of Ithaca.

WELLS - THORNTON:  In Lanesborough, by Rev. R.J. Kellogg, Mr. Wm. Wells of Upper Lisle [Broome Co. NY] and Miss Ella Thornton of Smithville [Chenango Co. NY].

Deaths

BLOOM:  In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY], September 10th, of ulcerated stomach, Mr. John H. Bloom, aged 41 years.  His remains were interred at Oxford [Chenango Co. NY], on Tuesday, by Canasawacta Lodge of Odd Fellows, of this village of which deceased was a member.

STEVENS:  In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY], September 3d, of consumption, Mr. John G. Stevens, son of Capt. S.S. Stevens.

BARTLETT:  In Smyrna [Chenango Co. NY], September 2d, Mr. Patrick W. Bartlett, aged 62 years.

BONAME:  In Oxford [Chenango Co. NY], September 5th, George Boname, son of Peter Boname, of Utica [Oneida Co. NY], aged 17 years and 5 months.

George Boname, the young man whom we mentioned a short time since as having a leg amputated, died on the 5th inst.  His health had been very poor for a year or more and death was the result from disease other than produced by amputation.  The remains were taken to Utica for burial.  His age was 17 years and 5 months.  Mr. Peter Boname desires us through the paper to return his sincere thanks to the ladies and gentlemen of this village who kindly rendered assistance and administered to the wants of his brother.  [Oxford Times, Sept. 13, 1871]

TREW:  In New York, September 3d, September 3d, Miss M. Louisa Trew, of London, England, niece of Rev. Richard Hiorns, of Plymouth, Chenango Co. [NY] in the 30th year of her age.

SANDERS - PARKER:  At the same time and place, by the Rev. G.D. Horton, assisted by Rev. A. Reynolds, Mr. Jacob A. Sanders to Miss Mary J. Parker, all of Coventryville [Chenango Co. NY].

Deaths

PRIEST:  In Afton [Chenango Co. NY], on the 22d inst., infant son of C. Martin Priest.

JACOBS - BUNNELL:  In this village [Oxford, Chenango Co. NY], on the 6th, by Rev. A. Reynolds, Mr. James Jacobs of South Oxford, to Miss Jenny Bunnell, of East Greene [Chenango Co. NY].

MOORE - HARRISON:  In Smithville [Chenango Co. NY], on 5th, by Rev. J.C. Nightingale, Mr. Henry L. Moore of New York, to Miss Maggie R. [Harrison], daughter of Richard Harrison of Smithville.

Deaths

DOTY:  In Oxford [Chenango Co. NY], on the 4th, Mr. William R. Doty, aged 49 years.

MOSHER:  In Preston [Chenango Co. NY], on 11th inst., of typhoid fever, Laverne [Mosher] son of Warren Mosher, aged 15 years.  Funeral Services at the M.E. Church on Tuesday, at 2 P.M.

The child found in a basket at the front door of Mr. H.V. Winsor of East Norwich [Chenango Co. NY], about three months since, and which was adopted by the family of Mr. Winsor, died on Friday night, of cholora infantum. The family had become deeply attached to the little stranger and mourn its loss with sincere affection.  Union

Also, in Norwich [Chenango Co. NY], Sept. 6th, by the same, Mr. Seely Merriam of Smithville [Chenango Co. NY], to Mrs. Sarah A. Sage, of Norwich.

Also, at the Chenango House, in this village [Greene, Chenango Co. NY], by the same, Sept. 6th, Mr. James H. Bliss to Miss Sarah L. Wooster, both of Smithville [Chenango Co. NY].

Deaths

In Smithville [Chenango Co. NY], Sept. 6th, Arthur Cole, son of Morrille and Mary Cole, aged 5 years.

In Norwich [Chenango Co. NY], Sept. 3d, Mr. John G. Stevens, son of Capt. S.S. Stevens.
