In Cooperstown [Otsego Co. NY] June 5, Ellen B. [Grover] wife of henry B. Grover, aged 25 years.

In Davenport [Delaware Co. NY] Herbert Davis.  The rumor that he had committed suicide was unfounded.  Insane attempts to take his own life being frustrated.

In Delhi [Delaware Co. NY] June 4, Col. John H. Gould aged 69 years.

In Chaseville [Otsego Co. NY], June 2, Libbie Edna [Walling] daughter of Milton and Emma J. Walling, aged six months.

In Maryland [Otsego Co. NY] June 2, Margaret [Beers] wife of Dexter Beers, aged 55 years.

The Syracuse Courier [Onondaga Co. NY] announces the death of the oldest Mason in this State, Robert Gilmor of Manlius [Onondaga Co. NY].  He was made a Mason in 1814 and belonged to the order 66 years.  Wilson Van Dyke of Unadilla was made a Mason in the same year.  If Mr. Gilmor was the oldest of his craft at the time of his death, Mr. Van Dyke undoubtedly is now.
