The death of Adrian Tisdale Robinson, 65, occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Chenango County Welfare Home in Preston [Chenango Co., NY], where he had been a patient for the past six weeks.  A lifelong resident of Guilford [Chenango Co., NY], the news of the passing of Mr. Robinson was learned with sorrow by a wide acquaintance in our village.  Mr. Robinson was born on March 26, 1876, in Guilford.  He was the son of the late Franklin B. and Emeline (Huntley) Robinson.  For nearly half a century, Mr. Robinson served the Norwich Sun, Chenango Telegraph, the Oxford Review Times and the Sidney Enterprise.  Loyal and faithful and thorough in his duties, his news letters were received through these papers in Guilford homes every week with pleasure and interest.  A man who devoted much of his thoughts to his church, his life interests, for the most part, were within the confines of his native village.  Following the death of his sister, Nancy, with whom he made his home in Guilford, Mr. Robinson kept to himself more and more.  A matter of only a few weeks prior to his death, failing health forced him to relinquish his duties as a news correspondent.  His only immediate survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Lucy E. Tillotson, of Johnson City, and Mrs. Orville Barstow, of Binghamton.  Funeral services were held from the Seymour Funeral Home in Oxford, Thursday afternoon.  at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Charles Dempsey of the Guilford Methodist church, officiating.  Burial in the family plot in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Guilford.  [Bainbridge News & Republican, Aug. 14, 1941]

R. Lewis Johnson, of the First Baptist Church officiating.  Bearers were Fred Hamlin, Leland Laraway, Ernest Hoyt, Coiffured Frank, Otto Neidlinger and Fred Sheran.  Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery [Bainbridge, NY].  [Bainbridge News  Republican, Aug. 14, 1941]
