Robert R. & Helen Adele (Brewer) White
Norwich [Chenango Co., NY]: At St. Paul's Church Wednesday morning occurred the marriage of Miss Helen Adele Brewer and Robert R. White, Rev. Father Prendergast officiating in the presence of the immediate relative and a few intimate friends. The bride was richly gowned in white silk with silver trimmings. She wore a veil and carried a wreath of lilies of the valley. The maid of honor, Miss Dora Balcom, was costumed in white and carried pink carnations. George Moran acted as best man. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sadie Brewer, of 46 Elm street, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. White, who reside near the village. Both young people are very popular and both have been employed by the Norwich Pharmacal Company. They were generously remembered by their many friends with gifts of cut glass, china and silver. Mr. and Mrs. White left on the morning train for Douglass Wyo., the groom's former home, where they will spend the summer months, visiting meanwhile Yellowstone Park and other places of interest. They will return and be at home to their Norwich friends about the first of October.
