DOWD - HOBAN:  In this town [Oxford, Chenango Co. NY], at the residence of the bride, on the 23d ult. by Rev. P. McNulty, Mr. George Dowd of Greene [Chenango C., NY] and Miss M. Adelia [Hoban] daughter of William Hoban of this town.

REYNOLDS - GRAY:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on the 23d ult. by the Rev. Dr. F. Rogers, Mr. Cyrus J. Reynolds of Addison, Steuben Co. [NY], and Miss Jennie F. [Gray], daughter of Mr. Alvin Gray, of Greene.

Deaths

HOLT:  In Guilford [Chenango Co., NY], March 20th, Nathan P. Holt, aged 80 years.

RIDER:  In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 12th inst., Georgie Cushman [Rider], daughter of George and Elizabeth Rider, aged 6 moths and 27 days.

STRATTON - SHIFFER:  In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 30th ult., by Rev. S. Scoville, Mr. Whitman Stratton and Miss Maggie Shiffer, all of Norwich.

WOOSTER - BENNETT:  In Guilford Centre [Chenango Co., NY] on the 28th ult. by Rev. J.L. Jones, Mr. Aaron M. Wooster and Eliza Bennett, all of Guilford.

Deaths

GRAY:  In this town [Oxford, Chenango Co., NY], on the 9th ult. Lucy M. [Gray], wife of John Gray, aged 69 years

GILE:  In North Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 30th ult., Mr. John Gile, aged 75 years.

GORTON:  In North Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 3d inst., Mr. Richard Gorton, aged 88 years.

LYON:  In Port Chester, Westchester Co. [NY], on the 30th ult. Mr. David Lyon, formerly of Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], aged 93 years.  Mr. Lyon was father of Mrs. Geo. R. Lyon of Greene.

GOULD:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on the 29th ult. Grateful [Gould], wife of Thomas Gould, aged 84 years.

OSBORN - LUCAS:  In Marathon [Cortland Co., NY], on th 6th inst. by Rev. J.H. Sage, Mr. John H. Osborn, of German [Chenango Co., NY] and Miss Betsey A. Lucas, of Smithville [Chenango Co., NY].

DE-JIN-NON-DA-WEH-HON - JON-A-ZEH:  On the 21st ult. at the residence of the bride's father on the C......gus reservation, by the Rev. A. Wright, De-jin-non-da-weh-hon, M.D., Grand Sachem of the Six Nations of Indians, and Miss Joh-a-zeh, daughter of Hon. Saul logan, ex-President of the Seneca Indians.

MORSE:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY] on the 4th inst., Dencon Drury Morse, aged 51 years.

BIXBY:  In Afton [Chenango Co., NY], on the 20th ult., Frances J. [Bixby] wife of Ira Bixby of Bainbridge [Chenango Co., NY], aged 22 years.

BENNETT - BENNETT: In Smyrna [Chenango Co., NY], on the 5th inst. by Rev J.H. Hall, Mr. Edgar L. Bennett and Miss Vilatia Bennett, all of Smyrna.

Deaths

BRABAZON:  In Guilford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 8th inst. of consumption, Harriet [Brabazon], youngest and beloved daughter of Charles J. and Julia M. Brabazon, aged nineteen years. After months of suffering, patiently borne, the hour of release came, and with a fond farewell to those she loved so well, the daughter and sister went to her home beyond the stars.

"Her hands are cold, her face is white, / No more her pules come and go; / Her eyes are shut to life and light, / Fold the white vestures snow on snow, / And lay her where the violets blow.

If any born of kindly blood, / Should ask "what maiden lies below," / Say only this, "a tender bud / That tried to blossom neath the snow, / Lies withered where the violets blow."

GROSS:  In Greene [Chenango Co., NY], on the 14th inst., Mr. William Gross, Jr., aged 37 years.

HATHEWAY:  In Solon, Cortland Co. [NY], on the 3d inst., Major General Samuel Gilbert Hatheway, aged 86 years, 9 months, and 26 days.

LYON:  In North norwich [Chenango Co., NY], suddenly, on the 19th inst. Mr. Samuel Lyon, Esq., aged 78 years.

CHAPMAN:  I Smithville [Chenango Co., NY], suddenly, on the 19th inst. May L. [Chapman], wife of George Chapman.
