In Cortland, Illinois, March 23d, from the effects of wounds received at the battle of Winchester, Mr. Franklin Sackett, aged 22 years, son of Dexter B. Sackett, formerly of Plymouth, Chenango Co. [NY].

Fatal Accident:  James Williams, a young man living in Columbus [Chenango Co., NY], met with a fatal accident on Monday of last week.  A team he was driving, ran away, throwing him out against a tree as a corner of the road was turned, breaking both legs above the knees.  He died from the injuries on Wednesday.
