Deaths

In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 28th ult., Thomas Milner Esq. aged 43 years.

In Sherburne [Chenango Co., NY], on the 25th ult., Mr. Erastus Newton, aged 72 years.

In Afton [Chenango Co., NY], Feb'y 26th, Mrs. Amy Weeks, aged 92 years and 6 months.

Rev. George Kerr LLD for sixteen years the principal of the Delaware Literary Institute, at Franklin, Delaware county [NY], and lately of the Cooperstown Seminary, died on the 27th ult. at Cooperstown [Otsego Co., NY].  His remains were interred at Franklin on the 31st ult. Dr. Kerr was fifty years of age, and an eminent educator.

Deaths

In Washington, D.C. on the 5th inst., Selah Sequires, Esq., aged 43 years.

Selah Squires, Esq., of this village [Greene, Chenango Co., NY], died suddenly of hemorrhage of the lungs, in Washington, on Friday evening last.  Mr. Squires has long been a resident here, but for several years past has not practiced his profession as a lawyer, but has been engaged in public business by appointment of governmental authority.  He was a man of ability, a good husband and a kind father.  His remains were brought home for interment on Monday.

In Utica [Oneida Co., NY], of consumption, on the 3d inst., Isabella W. [Fisher], wife of A.H. Fisher, aged 33 years and 22 days.

In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], on the 28th ult. Sarah [Haynes], wife of Charles B Haynes, aged 32 years.

In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 7th inst., Sally M. [Randall] wife of Orlando M. Randall, aged 34 years.

In Norwich [Chenango Co., NY], on the 5th inst., Cynthia [French], wife of James French, aged 63 years.

In Smithville [Chenango Co., NY], on the 27th ult. Mr. Wm. T. White, aged 69 years.

In Bainbridge [Chenango Co., NY], on the 13th ult., Mr. Benjamin C. Brown, aged 67 years.
