PARKER - GREEN:  At the Chenango House in this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY], Jan. 12th, by Rev. W.A. Wadsworth, Mr. Albert Parker to Miss Mary E. Green, both of Stockbridge, Madison Co. [NY].

ALDRICH - BENEDICT:  In Pharsalia [Chenango Co. NY], Jan. 2d, by Rev. V.S. Hopkins, Mr. Lucius Aldrich to Miss Ida Benedict, all of Plymouth [Chenango Co. NY].

ODELL - COX:  At the house of the bride's parents, Jan. 8th, by the same, Mr. Menzo A. Odell to Miss Adelaide M. Cox, all of Mt. Upton [Chenango Co. NY].

SLATER - BECKER:  In Oneida [Madison Co. NY], Jan. 4th, by Rev. S. Ball, Mr. H.F. Slater of Pharsalia [Chenango Co. NY], to Miss Gertrude H. Becker of Chittenango [Madison Co. NY].

IVES - BAILEY:  At the residence of the bride's parents, Jan. 12th, by Rev. M. Scofield, Rector of St. Matthew's Church, Unadilla, Mr. Homer L. Ives to Miss Libbie Bailey daughter of Samuel Bailey, Esq. all of Sidney Plains, nNY. [Delaware Co.].

Deaths

STOVER:  In Smyrna [Chenango Co. NY], Jan. 2d, Philura P. [Stover], wife of R.E. Stover, aged 36? years.

ROCK:  Suddenly, in this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY], on Monday evening, Jan. 10th, of apoplexy, Margery [Rock] wife of William Rock, aged 48 years.  Funeral services will be held at the methodist church this (Wednesday) morning at 10 o'clock.

Mrs. Margery Rock, wife of William Rock, Chief surveyor on the midland railroad, died very suddenly at her residence in this village on Monday evening, of apoplexy.  She had enjoyed her usual good health, and had been particularly cheerful on Monday, attending to her household duties as usual.  About four o'clock in the afternoon she was stricken with apoplexy, and died in about three hours, having remained unconscious all the time. She was an estimable lady and leaves a husband and several children to mourn her loss.  Her age was forty-eight years.

By the same, on the 22d ult. Mr. Marcius D. Gould, of Flushing, Long Island, to Miss Ann Augusta Thayer, of West Walworth, Wayne Co. N.Y.

At the Congregational Church, Dec. 8th, 1870, by Rev. R.D. Parker, assisted by Rev. J.H. Reid, Mr. E.B. Purcell to Miss Libbie Hoyt, both of Manhattan, Kansas.

Death

In Afton [Chenango Co. NY], on the 7th inst. Isaac Poole, son of James Poole, Esq., aged 27 years.

Delaware Gazette, Delhi, NY, January 18, 1871

Marriages

In this village [Delhi, Delaware Co. NY], on the 14th inst. by J.M. Preston, Esq., Mr. Isaac Ryan to Miss Mariette Higney, all of Delhi.

In Franklin [Delaware Co. NY], on the 10th inst. at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. A.H. Grant by the Rev. S.J. White, of Walton [Delaware Co. NY], Mr. J.K.P. Jackson of the Register office, to Miss J. Alice Grant, all of Franklin.

Death

At Sanford, Broome Co. [NY], on the 13th inst. Mrs. Susan Bathrick, aged 87 years, relict of the late John Bathrick, formerly of Bloomville [Delaware Co. NY].  Her remains were brought to Bloomville and interred in the family burying ground.
