On Monday last a little Child of Thomas Doran's came running out from the schoolhouse in the Foster neighborhood down the river at recess, after a colt which was passing, when the animal kicked, hitting the child and injuring it so severely that it died on Tuesday afternoon. Parents should caution their children against such carelessness and children should remember that death often follows on such thoughtless action.
