Marriages (December 22)

At a quiet home wedding last Wednesday evening March 29th at eight o'clock, William D. Thomas was married to Jennie S. Foster, both of this village [Bainbridge, Chenango Co., NY], by Rev. C.G. Cady.  Only a few of the relatives and friends were present.  A bridal lunch was served.  Mr. and Mrs. Thomas will reside in a new home recently purchased on Evans street.  [Bainbridge Republican, April 6, 1922]
 
Married at Binghamton:  Miss Harriet E. Fancher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin D. Fancher of Binghamton [Broome Co., NY], and Robert L. Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Wright of Conklin Road, were married Tuesday evening.  March 28, at 8 o'clock in the Centenary Methodist Episcopal church.  Rev. A quiet but beautiful wedding was solemnized Tuesday evening at the Baptist parsonage when Harold Conrow and Miss Florence E. Greene were united in marriage by Rev. Charles B. Allnatt, in the presence of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Greene.  [Bainbridge Republican, April 20, 1922]
 
Miss Malva Althea Dowrey of Oak Crest place, Nutley, New Jersey and Norman Leslie Beatty of East Orange, New Jersey, were married Saturday afternoon the fifteenth of April at St. Paul's Congregational Church, Nutley, by Rev. Robert Crawford Falconer, pastor.  The bride's traveling costume was of dark blue with hat to match and she wore a corsage bouquet of orchids and lilies of the valley.  After a motor trip through Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York state, the couple will leave by motor for California, where they expect to make their future home.  [Bainbridge Republican, April 27, 1922]

Bennettsville [Chenango Co., NY]:  Dr. Lawrence Blenco and Miss Pearl E. Ellis of Johnson City were married happily and suddenly on Monday May 1, 1922 by the Rev. Shear fo Endicott.  They will reside in Binghamton.  [Bainbridge Republican, May 11, 1922]

Married at the Baptist parsonage in New Berlin [Chenango Co., NY], April 26th, 1922, Mr. Warren D. Robertson and Miss Mina Weeks, both of Edmeston [Otsego Co., NY].  They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William Grady.  Mrs. Grady is a sister of the groom.  The bride was attired in a dark blue suit of tricotine and black hat.  Mr. Robertson is a well known and popular young man of Edmeston.  Mrs. Robertson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Weeks of Afton, and is well known in this place, having a position with the Bordens when they were here.  The many friends wish the happy couple a prosperous and happy voyage through life.  [Bainbridge Republican, May 1, 1922]
