In Delhi [Delaware Co. NY] March 17, Carrie HJ. [Saunders] daughter of Lamont and Mary A. Saunders, aged 13 years.

In Franklin [Delaware Co. NY] March 12, Mrs. Jas. Cabine aged 60 years.

In Franklin [Delaware Co. NY] March 13, Mrs. Pamelia Case relict of Roger Case and stepmother of Dr. H.H. Case, of Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY], aged 81 years.

Mrs. Parmelia Case, a much respected resident of this village, aged 81 years, died on Sunday at 4 p.m.  The funeral services were largely attended at her late residence on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. H. Callahan officiating.

In Cherry Valley [Otsego Co. NY], Marsh 19, Abner Smith aged 84 years.

At Otego [Otsego Co. NY] March 15, Mrs. Lucy Bundy aged 93 years.

A boy about 14 years of age, living with Mrs. Masha O. of Gilbertsville [Otsego Co. NY] went to the barn Sunday morning to water the stock.  He tied the halter of one of the horses around his wrist, the horse became frightened and ran with him. when found  the boy was dead.

In Gilbertsville [Otsego Co. NY] March 18, Daniel Hurlbutt aged 51 years.

Last Sunday morning, as Daniel Hurlbutt and family of Butternuts [Otsego Co. NY] were on their way to church, and when near the village of Gilbertsville, Mr. Hurlbutt sank back in his sleigh, dead, without a struggle or without uttering a word.  A postmortem examination on Monday evening revealed the cause of his death as being paralysis of the heart.  The funeral services were largely attended at his late residence on Tuesday, with Rev. Mr. Wells officiating.  Mr. Hurlburt was for about six years a resident of this town and his many friends in this and [nearby towns] will hear of his death with sadness.
