In Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY] July 10th, Minnie [Coon] daughter of Samuel Coon, aged 1 year 8 months.

In Unadilla [Otsego Co. NY] July 7th, Mrs. Sophia Bristol aged 52 years.

In New Lisbon [Otsego Co. NY] July 7, Harvey D. [Potter] son of E.D. Potter, in the 3d year of his age.

In Westford [Otsego Co. NY] July 6, Nicholas Banker aged 46 years.  During the rebellion he served in the 121st regiment.

In Cherry Valley [Otsego Co. NY] July 8th, George Scott aged 87 years.

In Roseboom [Otsego Co. NY] July 6th, Hannah Yendley aged 84 years.

In Roseboom [Otsego Co. NY] July 3d, Willie P. Chase in the 10th year of his age.

Rev. Dr. Zachariah Paddock a prominent Methodist divine, died at Binghamton [Broome Co. NY] on the 4th inst.  He was born in Montgomery County [NY]in 1798.

Simon Turner of Preston, Chenango Co. [NY] aged 90 years, was found dead Tuesday afternoon in a small creek at the rear of his residence.

Charles Lawton a resident of this village [Franklin Delaware Co. NY] died very suddenly last Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock p.m.  He had been complaining of severe pain in his stomach and head for a few days yet was not considered dangerously ill.  A postmortem examination revealed the fact that his death was caused by an apoplectic shock or fit, causing death in about ten minutes.  The funeral services were largely attended on Sunday last, delegations of Masons being present from all of the adjoining towns.

Ashael Bemiss of this village [Franklin, Delaware Co. NY] formerly of Otego [Otsego Co. NY] was found dead near the residence of H.S. Edwards, one-half mile north of this place, on Monday noon.  Mr. Bemiss had been mowing nearby during the forenoon and was seen to fall and upon reaching him he was dead.  His funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon.
