In Lenox, Madison County [NY], on the 24th inst. by the Rev. Elder Frazier, Col. Isiah Lord, of Pitcher [Chenango Co., NY] to Miss Anna Baldwin, of the former place. [June 6, 1832]

At Sherburne [Chenango Co., NY], on Wednesday morning last, by the Rev. L.S. Rexford, Mr. Daniel I. Hubbard, of Sherburne to Miss Clarissa O. Boyden, of Willet, Cortland County [NY]. [June 13, 1832]

At the Old Four Corners, Sherburne [Chenango Co., NY], on the 24th ult. by Thomas Merrills, esq. Jeremiah Purdy, of Sherburne, a Revolutionary Solider aged 73 years, to Miss Susannah Wallsworth,  of Preston [Chenango Co., NY], aged 18 years. [Aug. 8, 1832]

At Poughkeepsie [Dutchess Co., NY], on the 29th ult. Austin W. Otis, merchant, firm of Otis & Smith, Truxton, Cortland co. [NY], to Miss Elizabeth H.W. Clark, daughter of Rufus Clark, of the city of N. York. [Aug. 8, 1832]

In Plymouth [Chenango Co., NY], by the Rev. L. Clark, Mr. James Cameron to Miss Adelia Dwight, both of Owego. [Tioga Co., NY]. [Aug. 29, 1832]

Deaths

In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY], on Wednesday, the 30th ult. Mrs. Lucy Ann [Lewis], wife of Mr. Thomas Lewis, aged 29 years. [June 6, 1832]

In Preston [Chenango Co., NY], on the 1st inst. Mr. Cyril Carpenter, aged 74 years. [June 6, 1832]

Mr. Alexander McCullough, late of this town [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY], was drowned in the town of Addison, Steuben County [NY], on the 17th of May last, leaving a wife and ten children, the eldest of which is not yet 13 years old, to lament his loss. [June 6, 1832]

In New Berlin [Chenango Co., NY], on Friday the 15th inst. Caroline C. [Conkey], daughter of Silas A. Conkey, aged about 5(?) years.  [June 20, 1832]

In Sherburne [Chenango Co., NY], on Wednesday evening last Mrs. Lucy [Babcock] wife of Mr. Gardner Babcock, aged 40 years. In the death of this excellent woman, society has sustained a loss that cannot easily be supplied.  She discharged the various duties of a wife and a mother with most exemplary fidelity, and to the husband and children she has left behind her, her death will be felt as a deep and sure depression, which will be long lamented.  [June 20, 1832]

In Oxford [Chenango Co., NY], Doct. Perez Packer, aged 45.  Doct. P. was a valuable member of his profession, to whom the citizens of Oxford and its vicinity had been devotedly attached.  His loss to them will be irreparable.  [July 25, 1832]

On the 21st instant, at Columbus Chenango Co. [NY], Doct. H. Storrs of the city of Utica [Oneida Co., NY].  Doct. Storrs died of a consumption, it is believed, he was highly esteemed by a very wide circle of friends and acquaintances.  He was about 40 years old. [Aug. 1, 1832]

In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY], on Sunday evening last, John Milton [York], son of the Hon. Charles York, aged two years. [Aug. 8, 1832]

At Preston [Chenango Co., NY], on the 22d ult. Alonzo Fletcher, son of Josiah Fletcher, aged 14 years. [Aug. 8, 1832]

In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co., NY], on Sunday morning last, an infant son of Ansel Berry, aged three weeks. [Aug. 29, 1832]

In Plymouth [Chenango Co., NY], on Wednesday last, Eliza [Swain] daughter of Mr. Elisha R. Swain, aged 9 years and 2 months.  A tub of hot water was accidentally upset upon the child, which scalded it so severely a to cause tis death in about 12 hours.  [Aug. 29, 1832]
