In this village [Cazenovia, Madison Co. NY], yesterday morning, after a very distressing illness, which she bore with Christian patience, Mrs. Laura Hurd, aged twenty-two years, wife of Gen. J.N.M. Hurd. In the death of Mrs. Hurd, society has lost a valuable members - the indigent a true friend, and her husband an amiable partner.

In Schenectady [Schenectady Co. NY] David Mumford, Esq. in the 65th year of his age. He was for many years an eminent merchant in the city of New York and was much respected by all who knew him.
At Albany [Albany Co. NY] after a short but very severe illness, Mr. George Webster bookseller and one of the editors and proprietors of the Albany Gazette and Daily Advertiser in the 61st year of his age.

In this village [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY] pm Tuesday morning the 26th ult. Perez Raqndall Esq. county clerk aged 55 years. Mr. R. has been clerk of Chenango 20 years successively with the exception of one term. He was a popular man with the people - a most excellent clerk and an honest man.

In this town [Norwich, Chenango Co. NY] on Monday morning Mrs. Polly Case wife of John W. Case, aged 37 years. In the death of Mrs. C., which occurred under peculiarly afflicting circumstances, her husband, family and friends have met with a loss irreparable. She was a member of the Baptist Church at North Norwich and sustained well all the relations of domestic and religious duty.
