We are informed that Mr. Cornwell a teamster from Davenport [Delaware Co. NY] while driving a loaded team from Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY] on Saturday last, fell from his wagon a short distance below Emmons and broke his neck. The team came up to Jay's Hotel and stopped. Search was made and the body found. Marriage
A tin and variety wedding occurred at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Carruth in Cincinnatus [Cortland Co. NY] on the 6th inst. There was a large number in attendance and a fine social time enjoyed. The presents received were numerous and some very valuable. Music, both vocal and instrumental, enlivened the occasion and the company dispersed at a late hour, with the firm resolve to participate in the nuptials of their 25th anniversary, if residents of this mundane sphere.

Chenango Forks, Broome Co. NY: Mr. and Mrs. Milo Robinson's little boy died last Thursday morning, a victim of diphtheria.
