In Unadilla [Otsego Co. NY] on the 25th ult. Caroline [Fellows] wife of Maj. O.D. Fellows in the 71st year of her age.

In West Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY] Jan. 25th, Mrs. Elizabeth Williams relict of Joseph Williams, aged 74 years, 9 months and 14 days.

At the residence of the bride, Jan. 25th, by Rev. A.M. Colgrove, Edwin Gaylord of Milford Center [Otsego Co. NY] to Miss Emma J. Wallace of Butternuts [Otsego Co. NY].

Deaths

In Milford [Otsego Co. NY] Jan. 13th, Chauncey L. Brown in the 72d year of his age.  He fell asleep in Jesus.

In Middlefield [Otsego Co. NY] at the residence of her son-in-law, H.K. Jarvis, Jan 13th, Mrs. Fanny Bliss relict of the late Jesse Bliss, Esq. of Hartwick [Otsego co. NY] aged 74 years.

In Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY] Jan. 26, Isaac Peet aged 82 years.  He was one of the pioneer settlers on Oneonta Creek and resided there for 70 years.

Death of David Kelso, Esq.  This gentleman - one of the most highly respected citizens of Otsego County [NY] died at his residence in Westford [Otsego Co. NY] on the 24th ult. aged about 70 years.  His loss will be severely felt by the entire community in which he had spent so many years of an upright and useful life.

Christian Brown, an old and respected citizen of Maryland [Otsego Co. NY], was driving cattle across the track on Monday Jan. 30th and all had crossed but one, when the western bound train - due at that time - came in sight, and he, thinking the cow had not time to cross, endeavored to hinder her from the attempt.  Naturally she endeavored to cross, he using all his powers to obstruct her passage, when just as the engine came opposite, the cow ran against or pushed him on the track.  He was badly injured, having one leg crushed and terribly mangled otherwise.  He died within six hours after the occurrence.  Monitor

We take the following from the Utica Herald:  Married - Jan. 21 at Plainfield, Otsego County [NY] at the residence of Robert Evans by H.R. Williams, Joseph Copas to Miss Jane Rowland.  This couple were married in Plainfield, Otsego County, partook of wedding dinner in Winfield, Herkimer County [NY] took tea in Bridgewater, Oneida County [NY] and were all the time under one roof.

At West Davenport [Delaware Co. NY] Feb. 12th by Rev. S. Martin, Emules A. Reynolds to Miss Eillie D. Lavanway all of Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY].

In Cooperstown [Otsego Co. NY] on the 9th inst. after an illness of five years, Mrs. Amelia D. [Byram] wife of Dr. E. P. Byram, aged 57 years.

In Oneonta [Otsego Co. NY] Feb. 15th, Willis S. [Bresee] only son of Andrew and Ann F. Bresee, aged 1 year and 10 months.

In South New Berlin [Chenango Co. NY] Feb. 3d, Marion K. [Babcock] ag'd 1 year 1 month and 29 days.

In Vineland, N.J. Jan. 19th, Ethan Ellen in the 55th year of his age.  Mr. Allen was formerly of this county [Otsego Co. NY].

In Milford [Otsego Co. NY] on the 6th inst. Amos Sweet aged 59 years.
