In our obituary department we publish a notice of the death of David J. Pritchard of this village. The circumstances of his death are peculiarly distressing. Deceased was the son-in-law of Henry Hanson, a former well-known resident of this village with whom he had been spending some time in New Mexico. He was recently stricken with partial paralysis and as soon as he was able, he was brought home, his father-in-law accompanying him. During the severe cold weather that marked the period of his transit he contracted a hard cold which developed soon after his arrival her on Wednesday last into pneumonia and terminated in his death on Saturday last. The unfortunate man was unable to speak after his arrival. The many friends of Mr. Hanson and his family will sympathize deeply with him in his affliction.
